Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Classpresso ("the Service"), including the website, npm package, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Classpresso provides CSS class consolidation tools designed to optimize utility-first CSS for better browser performance. The Service includes:

  • An open-source npm package for CSS optimization
  • A web dashboard for viewing analytics and managing projects
  • API keys for integrating analytics with the npm package
  • Optional paid subscription tiers with additional features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep this information up to date.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.

3.3 API Key Usage

API keys are issued for your use only and should not be shared. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API keys.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Abuse the analytics API with excessive requests
  • Share your API keys or account credentials
  • Reverse engineer the Service (except as permitted by the MIT license for the npm package)
  • Use the Service to transmit malware or harmful code

5. Open Source License

The Classpresso npm package is released under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software in accordance with that license. The full license text is available at /license.

The website, dashboard, and proprietary services are not covered by the MIT License and remain subject to these Terms of Service.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free Tier

The free tier provides basic access to the Service with usage limits as described on our pricing page.

6.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

6.3 Refunds

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase. Contact support to request a refund.

6.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

Except for the open-source npm package, all content, trademarks, and intellectual property associated with the Service are owned by Classpresso. You may not use our branding without permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLASSPRESSO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Classpresso from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

11. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect paid subscribers.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Classpresso operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
